Less Trash, More Awesome

We work with a bunch of different businesses and organizations to help make Tampa Bay more sustainable. Support businesses that compost and encourage your own favorite spots to get into composting and other green business practices. From a simple compost pickup to a full zero waste operation — we're here to help you work toward your sustainability goals!

indie market

The St. Pete Indie Market has partnered with Suncoast Compost and Suncoast Surfrider Foundation to work toward becoming a zero waste event! They've banned single-use plastics and have been recycling and composting their event waste in an effort to reduce their carbon impact. With our help, they continue to divert more and more of their waste away from the landfill and push towards a zero waste goal. With handy vendor guides and enthusiastic followthrough, they are definitely setting the bar for sustainable markets in the area.

creativemornings st. pete

CreativeMornings hosts free monthly events that inspire, support, and connect the creative community. In 2017 our local chapter partnered with Suncoast Compost to go waste-free. From their very first month, they've been rocking 90% or higher waste diversion by refusing, reducing, reusing, and recycling at their events. They work with their venues and vendors to ensure everyone is on board and they've pioneered sustainable practices like their 'mug library' and 'naked breakfast' to reduce their overall impact on the planet each month. Check them out!
